Northcare Sports Injuries & Rehabilitation Centre was established in 1991 in Salisbury, South Australia. The five directors of Northcare Physiotherapy are all practicing Physiotherapists who have between them, an extensive amount of professional and personal experience. They are dedicated to maintaining Northcare’s reputation as a leader in the field of physiotherapy.
Northcare’s core business revolves around 3 areas:

The core business of Physiotherapy is complemented by a Health and Fitness division offering the broader community access to excellent facilities and professional expertise.
Northcare’s Mission Statement
“Northcare Physiotherapy, Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation Centre aims to provide the best possible service, the best facilities and to provide innovative treatment, prevention and management programs to individuals, groups and industry”.
Northcare at Salisbury is the showpiece of the group’s activities, providing a central location for treatment, rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, worksite consultancy, return to work assessment and planning. The centre is open for extended hours, six days per week.
Initially formed by an amalgamation of 3 practices, Northcare now has 12 practices & associated branches located throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area as well as the south east of South Australia.

Salisbury Location
The Northcare flagship at Salisbury provides a fantastic working environment for staff and tenants, as well as very comfortable surroundings for patients.
In addition to 10 treatment rooms for Physiotherapists, Northcare has a number of complimentary services including tenants such as occupational physicians, podiatrists, masseurs and psychologists.
A fully equipped WorkCover accredited medical gymnasium and hydrotherapy pool complete the Northcare services.
Accreditation
Northcare Salisbury is a Quality Endorsed practice. This is an official acknowledgment by the Australian Physiotherapy Association that the practices comply with consistently high standards of safety, record keeping, procedures, continuing education and practice regulations. The APA Accreditation program has been adapted from the Australian Council on Health care standards and is internationally recognised.
In line with APA accreditation guide lines Northcare has developed a range of services to provide a range of services to provide a range of services to provide effective, affordable treatment to its clients.
